PAIMAN is a USAID funded project designed to reduce Pakistan's material, neonatal, and child mortality. To achieve this goal in DG Khan, the project will implement a holistic media-mix approach using Mass-Media, Community/Traditional Media, and Interpersonal/Group Media approaches. Before initiating the Media Storming Project, PAIMAN wanted to conduct a baseline Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) Study related to the initiation of breastfeeding, exclusive breastfeeding, and breastfeeding duration among women and their family members. At the end of the intervention and the endline survey will be conducted.
The firm developed the baseline and endline survey instruments based upon the guidelines provided by the client. Field researchers were trained and deployed and data was collected from the urban and rural populations of the district for nine days. Data were compiled and analyzed using SPSS. A baseline report was developed based on the research results. After the completion of the media storming project and endline survey was also conducted and a report was developed. The firm presented the major findings of the studies to the client.
