Huma KhawarUNFPA under its 7th country program was facing low demand for its services in Mother Neo-natal and Child Health (MNCH) and Reproductive Health (RH). To generate demand UNFPA contracted APEX to gather information on Reproductive Health in order to develop a Behaviour Change Communication (BCC) Strategy for their 7th country program.
APEX conducted various meetings with relevant stakeholders working on the issue, information of RH was gathered from the concerned ministries, later the field issues were addressed by meeting the community and the males and females were interviewed. On the basis of qualitative research, APEX developed field findings and then scanned the information to develop a detailed BCC strategy with an estimated cost for demand generation of RH services and centers.
