Project Description

The Project MCHIP FATA-KP Health Program will support the Department of Health (DOH) in KP and the Directorate of Health (DH) in FATA to achieve the objectives of the DOH Health Strategy and the FATA Sustainable Development Plan. The main objective of this study is to utilize the findings from a gender analysis being conducted concurrently by FKHP, as well as other relevant research and materials to develop a comprehensive, multi-level maternal and child health-focused SBCC strategy to assist in achieving the project goal and objectives. The strategy will focus on key behaviors and enable social factors for improved outcomes of maternal, newborn and child health and healthy timings and spacing of pregnancies in target districts of FATA and KP.
