ssaJapan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has extended cooperation to accelerate MDG 04 and 05 in Pakistan, in particular, contribute to improving maternal and infant mortality. This study aims to collect necessary information and mapping of maternal and child health and in-depth analysis of the potential area of support for JICA to consider further support in the area of Mother and Child Health in Pakistan.
The services provided by the firm included detailed desk review of data/literature available, development of qualitative data collection tools, conducted interviews with a focal person od MNCH, LHW, WPI, Chief Health P&D, HSRU, PWD, Nutrition, DHIS programs in Pakistan including GB and AJ&K at the provincial level. Analyzed the status of service delivery and utilization, assessed administration system, and identification of potential sites.
