ssaUSAID resumes operations in Pakistan in 2002 after an absence of more than 10 years. In the beginning, the approved budget for USAID Pakistan operations was USD 350 million. USAID had decided to start activities in areas of health, governance, education, and economic development. The project was to design new activities in all these four areas.
APEX researched 11 different projects in areas of health, education, governance, and economic growth. found local Pakistani counterparts to work with USAID, estimated budget devised timelines, and presented the complete project proposals to USAID to be pursued for the next 03 years.
