Project Description

The client is seeking proposals for the baseline and end-line study of a drug prevention campaign in 06 districts of KPK province of Pakistan. UNODC in collaboration with the Ministry of Narcotics Control and Pakistan Bureau of Statistics carried out a survey on drug use in Pakistan. Both organizations launched a drug prevention campaign for selected cities of KPK. The cities include Peshawar, Mardan, Nowshera, Kohat, Charsadda, and Abbottabad.

Services provided by APEX

APEX conducts a pre-intervention survey in the 06 targeted cities to obtain a baseline of knowledge, attitude, and practices to various population groups including the general public, youth, teachers, parents, women, and religious leaders, etc. at the completion of the post-intervention survey will be carried out with the same population to assess the impact of the campaign in raising their knowledge and information about harmful effects of drugs and ways to prevent drug use.
