Project Description

The objective of the End-line survey was to collect end-line data on science education at pilot and control schools at Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) of the project, using instruments based on those developed for the BLSIA. The objective of the End-line survey was to examine the impacts of the project comparing the data collected for the BLSIA and ELSIA.

Services provided by APEX

The services provided by the firm included the development of instruments/questionnaires in close coordination with the client, training and mobilizing the field teams, and selection of educational experts. The field teams conducted a Primary Education End-line survey in all the schools situated in the Islamabad Capital Territory. The research instruments included students, teacher assessment questionnaires, Class Observation sheets, and in-depth interviews with the Head Master/Principal. More than 5,000 questionnaires were collected in the project. These instruments were entered in CSPro for cleaning and the cleaned data was entered into SPSS for statistical analysis. The final report was drafted for the client which included the data analysis, findings, and recommendations.
