Project Description

Livelihood Strengthening Programme (LSP) is a three year initiative by Rural Support Programme Network (RSPN) implementing through Sarhad Rural Support Programme (SRSP) aiming to contribute in the reduction of poverty through reviving livelihoods and empowering communities in the three districts i.e. Charsadda, Nowshera, and Peshawar of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The program is financially supported by the Australian Agency for Development Agency (AusAid) and in being implemented in 42 villages of Eighteen Union Councils of the three districts. The program began in July 2010 and conclude in June 2013. A total population of 30,156 households was benefited both directly and indirectly from the program.

Services provided by APEX

The services provided by the firm included data collection, entry, and tabulation. APEX mobilized and trained 03 field teams where each team consist of one male enumerator, one female enumerator, and one engineer having experience of field research. These teams worked in three districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa i.e. Charsadda, Nowshera, and Peshawar, and teams were supervised by an experienced supervisor. Field teams used 09 different tools to collect information about Street Pavement and Drainage Schemes, Irrigation Schemes, Livestock Extension Workers, Vocational Training Beneficiaries, and Enterprise Development Groups.
