Mr. Sardar Ali studied engineering at the University of Texas at Austin, obtained a Masters in International Relations from Japan, and trained in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. For the last 25 years, Sardar Ali has worked in Pakistan, Japan, the US, and Europe in engineering, commercial banking, business, and international development. Working for the World Bank in Washington DC, he was involved in private and financial sector reforms in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. As a senior partner of his firm, Sardar Ali has led teams within Pakistan on wide-ranging disciplines including governance, livelihood, microfinance, agriculture, energy, and local area development. Sardar Ali combined national and international academic training and experience in engineering, finance, and economics to manage complex multidisciplinary projects and lead experts with a variety of skill sets. He is fluent in Japanese and has published in international dailies.
