Over the last three decades Azhar Khan has designed and implemented monitoring and evaluation systems at both the project and the programmatic levels. With thorough knowledge of monitoring and evaluation standards of development agencies such as USAID, EU, DFID and CIDA, he has evaluated projects on poverty alleviation, water and sanitation, infrastructure, human settlement, education, livelihood, value chain and community outreach. Azhar Khan managed child labor project for UNICEF and education program for National Commission of Human Development (NCHD) in 122 districts of Pakistan. Author of several research papers, he has won awards and recognition for his work fromUNICEF, Government of Pakistan and the Aga Khan Development Network. He has served as Director Planning and Development with the Sindh Government and as Program Manager M&E with the National Rural Support Program (NRSP).
