Terminal Evaluation of International Training Program on Operation and maintenance of Construction M
Short summary of Project
Construction Technology Training Institute with cooperation of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) initiated 5-year Third Country Training Course on Operation and Maintenance of Construction Machinery. To investigate Program’s relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, impact and sustainability, JICA Pakistan engaged the Consultants to evaluate the Program. The Consultants employed a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate performance of the training Program in terms of planning, management of training program, usefulness of course contents, training processes, contribution towards building knowledge and skills of the participants, and overall effectiveness of the training. Quantitative information was collected through semi-structured self-administered questionnaires while semi-structured questionnaire were used for qualitative information collection. One Focus Group Discussion (FGD) was conducted with participants of the fifteenth training program. The Consultants compiled and analyzed the data in-house and used the findings generated from qualitative and quantitative for the recommendations.
