Impact Evaluation of Community Resilience Project
Short summary of Project
In the backdrop of military operations in 2009 and floods in 2010, Swat and Malakand faced huge devastation in terms of community infrastructure. UNDP, with its government counterparts, conducted a need assessment to assess the extent of destruction in Swat and launched the Community Resilience Project (CRP) in the six tehsils of Swat.
The Post Crisis Need Assessment (2010) identified 953 physical infrastructure schemes for rehabilitation component for which the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) provided financial support.
The APEX Consulting Pakistan was hired to conduct "Impact Evaluation of CRP. The services provided by the firms included development of research design tools for quantitative and qualitative research, data collection, analysis and impact assessment report.
