IFES is seeking proposals for Monitoring & Evaluation Services for Support for Election Reforms in Pakistan (SERP) project. The project organized by IFES and a key component under the Project is to monitor and evaluate the conduct and organization of large-scale, nationwide training of polling staff in Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) ahead of the upcoming general elections, it is expected that project will deliver following results:
To strengthen the democratic legal framework for elections. Enhancing electoral management capacity of the ECP to conduct credible elections. Escalating voter and civic education, including women and marginalized groups.
The services provided by the firms included monitoring and evaluation reports of training, and provide recommendations to improve future training, in line with the needs on the ground, with the wider purpose to improve the electoral process. Monitoring and evaluation conducted by prospective training participants, program staff, available data, and observations. APEX monitored and evaluated 2046 workshops by deploying 300 field monitors at constituency level
